Module-2 – Shared Waters

Through the activities and discussions in different topics in this module on Shared Waters, students will learn what the human right to water implies and challenges with access to water and sanitation including gender and caste-based discrimination. They will look at how public access to water or water for all through hydro-philanthropic efforts in the past have changed over time with the commodification of water  and how organisations such as the Pani Haq Samiti in Mumbai are responding. Students will get a chance to reflect on how they can participate in ensuring equitable water access through action and the arts.
